I wrote this poem
In a notebook
I bought at Staples
Which I paid for
With my Mastercard
Only after finishing
The first draft
Thus the poem
Was there in the notebook
Even before the cashier got paid
As part of a larger
Credit transaction
Involving the total sum
Of $20.69
