These are two indisputable truths that work against each
other: the more money you have the closer you can get to living the way you
want to live but the countervailing principle is that the less money you have
the closer you can get to being the way you want to be. Freedom from need is a
great form of material wealth. Freedom
from want is a great form of spiritual wealth.
Where they intersect is for each of us the cross we choose to bear.
