Similar jargon

As a certainty

She said and I quote

Positive perceptions of poetry

Include the belief that

Poems can help you

Better appreciate

The world around you

They can make you laugh

Or cry out loud with

Insight or pain

And most of all

They can help you better

Understand

Other human beings

As more than similar to self

Than by custom one had

Been led to believe

Was the case

Poetry’s most essential task

Being to abet the self

In loosening

Its tight grip

A message very close

To the heart

Of all art and

Communication
